Is anyone actually using this “problem” as more than a general rule of thumb? I mean basically “Don’t marry or hire the first person you meet” seems fairly simple logic for most situations. The more important the job/function probably the more people you want to see before you hire, weighed against the cost of prospecting. Every situation will have its own unique constraints.
